How do you put the air conditioning condensor in a car that didn't have one in
it(retrofit)?
It won't fit down through the top
Do I have to take the bumper off
to get it in?
Thanks

If you remove the hood hinge/brace assembly and horns I suspect it will. If not you might try coming up from underneath.

Ralph,
I'm not sure about a '70, but for a '72 the hole in the firewall is different.
For non-ac the hole is more horizontal and for ac it is slimmer and vertical. You need to find an ac car in the junk yard and cut out the firewall section, then you can weld your existing holes closed and cut out for the new patch.
If it's like 71-72 that is.

Condenser - in front of radiator
Evaporator - near firewall
a lot of people get the two confused
