Tom,

Don't know what year you have but I'm e-mailing you some info on a 70 model. I think most years the wiring is very simular. I'd check the simple things first. Check the fuse marked A/C tcs on the fuse block near the emergency brake pedal. See if the purple or black wires have become unplugged from the blower. You may have to remove the inner fender to see them. Let us know if you are familiar with a volt meter. This will really help.

Thank you for the wiring diagram by the way it is a 69 so i think 70 is close to the same wiring. I am very familar with a volt meter its that im not familar with the relays and ac.

The black wire has been cut from the blower there is about 7 inches sticking out but i have been unable to find it in the harness i havent checked if its hot or ground either but im guessin actully positive this is the problem

yes but in the wiring diagram it shows the black ground lead going to the votlage regulator.

A ground by any other name is still a ground. I agree, that particular wire needs to be connected to a ground. Try it! You'll like it!

Allright i can make the blower come on using the battery and i replaced the compressor relay im begining to think its the horn relay because its showing no voltage there

no voltage on the horn relay "BAT" terminal ?

Should have 12 volts to ground, it is fed from the terminal block on the core support which is fed from the pigtail on the positive battery cable

The person befor me has this car wired strange both terminals on the battery have had wires connected to them and both run to the car body witch is really strange the ground wire he ran runs to the top of the radiator support and the positive wire he ran runs back to a screw by the lights any ideas?

Nevermind i know thats right its just the wires are in bad need or replacement he used crimps and electircal tape i plan to soder. Im starting to think that it is the voltage regulator not the horn relay becuase i noticed that the red wire from the battery splits of to the ac generator and the horn and the voltage regulator

Are you sure that's just a "screw by the lights" and not the terminal block? If the screw is mounted in plastic and attached to the radiator support, that's the terminal block everyone is referring to. The positive pigtail should go there, then a 10ga Red wire to the Batt terminal on the horn relay.

Yes the block is there it just looked odd till i took out the battery for a closer inspeciton. Now i know the fan works i wired it to the batt to see if it came on and it does i just need to find the bad spot in the system
