Can anyone recommend a aluminum rad. that will bolt right in to a 1966 chevelle ss big block car?

Well,
I have a Be Cool brand, and its been okay... I modified the stock fan shroud to work with it, but had to buy the extra brackets for the shroud and the lower hose was slightly different from stock...

But they are pricey though...

Not that I wouldn't recommend them, just that I might look for a better price...

I also think it could have been a bit larger -wider. I still have 1-1/2 inches of the radiator support opening available without the radiator core, which means I could have had about a 6% to 7% increase in area-better cooling, but I don't know what the other constraints are to the core size...


There was a post here the other day about custom made aluminum radiators for a great price...

I use the Howe 19 x 26" on my '67. You'll find that it fills the radiator support wonderfully, costs only $199, and the workmanship is fantastic.
