DallasC71 Aug 1st, 02, 2:20 AM I have a 71 Chevelle With a 350. It has no air conditioning, but it still has that ugly box on the firewall. I am goin to remove it and replace it with a polished and cut sheet of aluminum. I want to know what it is goin to take to remove it from my engine bay. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 72SS454Chevelle Aug 1st, 02, 9:04 AM There are some bolts that attach it to the firewall under the passeger side fender so you have have to pull it. I would say to be on the safe side plan to take the hood, and fender off. I did that but I also didn't have a motor in at that time so it wasn't too difficult.
