I had gotten my ac working for a while there but now my drier is blocked up again. Ive changed the POA, expansion valve, and drier. The system sat for years before i bought the car and when I flushed the system I got alot of rust colored partcles coming out of the condenser line. Do condensers have problems with corrosion? The system did have some pressure in it when I bought it.Right now Im getting a hot reading going into the drier and a cold reading coming out so i figured thats where its blocked again. Also, areas of the low pressure side gets hot while parts of the high pressure side is getting cold.

Blaster, sounds like your drier is blocked. you ahouldnt get more than 2-3 degree (or psi)drop across a drier. if your condensor is steel then it can corrode inside, form your post it seems there is other trouble lurking.if particles are still presant then they may be plugging your exp. vlv again giving your strange reading elsewhere in the system,If so id recomend replacing he condensor coil filter drier and at least clean out the exp. valve.the evaporator coil is alum.so that should be ok. good luck.
