If anyone is running the radiator Racer1320 uses, I'm curious what the extra outlet is on there near the filler cap. I thought it would have something to do with coolant recovery but that doesn't seem to jive. Just wondering if I should be findnig a way to plug it or finding a place to connect it to.

I put a small piece of hose with a plug in it there. Not for the chalk and decals crew. But then neither is an aluminum radiator. All I know is that mine runs at 170 when its 117 outside http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif Otherwise stock.

I have this radiator for sale, GM part brand new in the box, could not use it since the nose of my car was so long and could not find the right hoses that looked decent without going to flex hose and adapters.

So can I use that connection instead of the one on the manifold? My fuel line get's in the way there.
