: Alum Radiators?

Was wondering if the Alum. Racing Radiators are worth it on a weekly driver and mostly show car.....engine is so darn hot - thought maybe this might give her some relief http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Am thinking of installing a low profile fan in front of the radiator I have now.

Any thoughts on this?
Thanks y'all!!!!

went from 4 core to 2 row aluminum and dropped 25 to 30 degrees for engine water temp and 20 degrees for trans temp using the trans cooler in the radiator prior to my primary aluminum trans cooler. This was tested on 2 99 degree 90% humidity days both on the street and at the strip...radiator was $299 delivered and it was a bolt-in.

If you are doing a lot of street driving I would stay away from the small race type aluminum radiators...

Rachael,

I have this radiator and could not install it due to hose fitment with my Monte's nose being so long...I want to sell it and the rubber mounts you need for it to fit.
