Does anyone know if the shroud on a 69 396 BB should cover the enitire core of the radiator. The problem is my car has the 3 row rad but the shroud leaves about 4 inches of the rad exposed on the drivers side. The rad core is 28 inches and the shroud is 24 inches. The fit top to bottom is perfect as well as the pass side, it just seems like maybe this is for a different size rad. Thanks. If anyone has a good pic of the shroud on a 69 BB(showing the drivers side)that would be great.

It's supposed to be that way. Nothing is wrong.

Not sure if my shroud is orignal, but on my `68 it covers the entire radiator. I havent ever seen one like the one you describe, on any A body car..

Is it possible to get a measurement on the 68 shroud? Mainly the width from side to side,and does it go from tank to tank?

Tank to Tank inside radiator is 28 1/2" . The shroud sits right inside at about 27 1/2"
