The other day I went to defrost my car in the morning and it was taking forever. Then I realized hardly any air was coming out at all. The air was still just as hot as it has been but with almost no force. Does this sound like a bad blower motor to you guys? The other thing is when I get going fast (50 or so) the air starts coming out like it should be. Any ideas?

A bad fan may spin slowly or not at all. Place the fan switch on HI (the orange 12v wire running along the top of the firewall (engine side), connects 12V to the motor, bypassing the resistors. Can you hear the motor spinning?

Wiggle the fan switch side-to-side. I have a bad switch that stops the motor in HI mode only.

You could have a vac leak and the door that moves from heat to defrost isn't moving.

I had a low air flow problem with my el camino. I corrected it by reconnecting and sealing all of the ducts/hoses under the dash. You will need to remove the dash pad to get at some hoses but it may be worth a look. I made a big improvement for the cost of some time and duct tape.
