I have a 72 big block manual that has a corroded radiator (inside). I've tried many of the so called "super" flushes with some success but none have really cleaned it up. Is there a chemical treatment that I can use? Can I take the radiator out, lay it flat, and pour something in it to boil it out?

I haven't seen an old fashion radiator shop near me in years or I would just take it to them.

If I do need to buy another, can original type radiators still be purchased? I believe I have an original 3 row (non AC, 4 speed, big block) in there now.

Thanks

you can buy a new one from your local auto parts supplier or off the internet in carparts.com. The repro companies like year one and NPD also have them. shop around and get a good price. The radiator shops are getting harder and harder to find. people just replace instead of repair.
