: Heater/AC controls for 67

Before purchasing new arms for my heater and AC controls, I'd like some advice. I know for certain that at least the bottom two levers are broken at the center pivot point. Are all 4 of the arms pivoted at the center? Looking at OPG catalog, it shows only two arms have a center pivot point. Bad photo or do two of them not have a pivot? If not, what keeps them centered?

I'd hate to buy the arms and find out something in the control box is also broken.

BTW, I have another 67 w/o AC and curious if the same applies concerning the pivots?

There is a single pin that is the pivot for all four levers. The levers pictured in the OPG catalog are not all for Heat-A/C controls. The left two or three are for the Heat only controls.

Dale. I am working on a 66, but I expect the levers are the same. I have an A/C version.

No not all levers are long, but all have a pivot hole like Elree said. I have four levers, two of them longer than the pivoting pin place. I made one myself when I just started restoring the car, kind of trying if I could. It turned out rather good http://www.si.hhs.nl/~rob/images/scanned/308d_ass_htr_lvr.jpg so I used it. The other two levers end with the pivot hole.

The top one (air) is short, then (outlets) a long, then (temperature) a short and then (defroster) a long one again.
