While flushing my radiator today I noticed that my upper hose collapses when I rev the engine. I didn't notice it when the engine was cool, only after it was at normal temp. The hose is a Gates molded with no inner spring to support it.

I looked at it after I shut it off and it had cooled down fully and the hose was collasped then also.

I've had no cooling problems whatsoever. The temp gauge stays rock solid at 180.

Is this just a weak hose or does it indicate something else? Thanks!

All You have is a worn out hose.
