: Removing A/C

I have a SB 68 Malibu and I removed the blower, condenser, and everything A/C related in the engine compartment.

Is there anything else I need to remove under the dash?

I want to keep the heater, so I'll have to fab a new blower housing to fit over the hole in my firewall where my old blower and housing used to be.

Who needs A/C in So. Cal. anyway? That's what windows are for.

A few days ago someone posted pictures of a blower box that replaces the AC box so you can convert to heater only mode. It came from American Graffiti (in Colorado??) and the price was $129 I think. It looked pretty good and would save you a lot of fab time. The link should be this one posted by Gibbons in Chevelle Tech 2001 http://www.chevelles.com/forum/Forum23/HTML/005556.html

Fried_Guy: Let me know if you get this cover. I would like to see it installed. Am just across the river from you.

That looks so perfect. Thanks a lot... I'll check it out and keep you all updated on the progress.

Oh yeah, is there anything else that I need to remove from under the dash?
