what's the easiest way to get the blower motor out from under the fender in a 66 chevelle? It'll be cold here soon and our doesn't work. looks like fender/inner fender removal maybe in order. Thanks for any suggestions.

The motor can probably be changed without total removal of the inner fender. Remove all the rear screws and loosen the front one enough to allow the rear part to drop down.

just did this on my 70, its probably the same blower location. I put the front pass side on a jack stand, took the tire off, took the screws holding the plastic inner fender out. All the screws except for the ones under the battery or towards the front of the car. Those ones dont need to come out.
Then disconnect all the wiring to the blower (ussually one clip, sometimes a clip and a ground wire if it had been changed). There should be 4 slotted screws holding the blower motor in. Use a short screwdriver, and it should come off easy.
