Does anyone know wher I can get my hands on the entire heating system for a 70 SS?
I just bought one and for some reason the entire heating system is gone.

interior stuff too?

You can get the core and such from after market providers like our sponsor, ground up. Others are OPG, Year One, etc.

The inside stuff may require a few trips to the junk yard or look around on TCs parts for sale section.

Personally, I'd fine a donor car (preferably a 4-door) and remove everything you need. Add a new heater core, of course..........

I am also missing the entire heater unit on my 70 Chevelle (Non AC car). What doner cars do I look for, and what years?

Bud,

By the look of your firewall opening, yours appears to have been originally equipped with A/C. Any 70-72 Chevelle or Monte Carlo will work for parts. I'm pretty sure any GM "A" body parts from 68-72 are the same as well.

Jim is right you did have AC and 68-72 chevelle or 70-72 monte will work.

wat2,
Is the opening still in the firewall? Is it horizontal or vertical like the firewall pictured from Bud70 ?
I may have everything you need including a good used heater core.
