I own a '70 Elky and I would be my wife's hero if I had A/C in the Car. The car did not have A/C from the factory. Are there any cars that I can rob the parts to make a system? I didn't want to spend $1000 on a kit if I didn't have to. Thanks.

I can't help with the Swap but I can give you a bit of advice. Before you go out and spend ANY money on either purchasing a donor car, or buying a setup that will work. Think about the cost comparison to purchasing a $1000 kit from Vintage Air, or someone else. This kit comes complete, with a warranty on the parts, while anything else you get, who knows, and I'm sure fitting all the pieces together will be a logistics nightmare. Just my 2cents worth. By the way, I starting trying to piece together a system for Non a/c '67 and ended up with Vintage Air, It was just much easier
