I own a 68 chevele w/ a 327, it is an A/C car but all is long gone. I am going to purchase a kit for it but have not decided which comp. makes the easiest to install and best performer of the aftermarcket kit. please help.

thank-you

depends on what you want or can deal with, the under-dash units are the eziest to install (that's why i did it) and it's a simple set-up so if you ever did have to service it, it would be ez enough, check my site for pics of my install... i used www.oldair.com (http://www.oldair.com) they are local to me and they were great help especially when my brackets/pulley's didn't work right. i've only had it a couple months but it's worked awesome (especially in august) kit is $725 plus what ever "special" stuff you need, i needed all new brackets cuz my brackets were home made, and new pulley's cuz i had the wrong pulley's using spacers (it was clean under the hood, but a mess to modify) and had to buy a new waterpump because the 1 i had was made in 70 and it wouldn't allow the new pulley to clear (that was WEIRD) but im very happy with the unit.

Check out vintage Air. San Antonio Texas. They seem to have there act together for aftermarket systems. Lots of good engineering. 1 800 862 6658.

I just received my system for my 64 Malibu Conv.
