Are there any old (well..they dont have to be old) Frigidaire tech folks out there? I'm looking for somebody with some technical data as to automotive component part number differences, etc. In other words, someone that can tell me that p/n 456 is different from p/n 123 because it has a fetzer valve on the end of it. Primarily interested in POA valves.

Thanks!!

Bob

IMHO unless you are factory spec restoring a car, you should relocate that POA valve to the nearest trash receptical. If all you desire is cold air, invest in the POA update valve 100 bux, and dump in 134. I messed with a poa for weeks, and finally learned my lesson with them.

Well, my wife accuses me of being anal when it comes to these things....BUT, I'm sticking with the original POA and R12 because I love a challenge!

cant say for sure on the POA but I know that the expansion valves had different orifices depending on model of car so there were differences there
