Great new forum. I wish it was here when I was stumbling through my conversion to factory A/C.
During my search for parts I found several variations of parts, some plastic and some plated metal. Things like the radio bezel and the heat control bezel. Whats the story with these.
I found a metal radio bezel and am looking for the metal heater A/C control bezel. Why would the General make them both?

As to why the General would make them both, Malibu's and Chevelle's, they would have different levels of trim, the Malibu being the uplevel trim option.

If this was the case I would think that the metal bezels would be easier to find.
