Yes. You should be concerned. Here are links to MS website. Read and follow these instructions. If your not running any up to date Virus stuff, Norton systemworks 2004 is pretty good, even deals with spyware. Best spyware? Adaware SE Pro and Spybot. Google Spybot - it's shareware - read the info and download it. Adaware SE Pro is latest - best if you purchase it and then keep the "def" files up to date. Questions?

What are the Symptoms of the MSBLAST worm?
You'll see a screen similar to the one below when you are infected, this will countdown to zero and literally shut down the system completely. The warning will state "This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". The message will read

Windows must now restart because the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectedly.

To end the Blaster worm process

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
Click the Task Manager button.
Click the Processes tab.
Click the Image Name column header to sort the processes alphabetically by name.
Look for a process named Msblast.exe. If you find it, click the name to select the process, and then click the End Process button.

Close the Task Manager.
