That picture is pretty big - 1440 X 1122 with 150 PPI resolution.
You need to resize it and change the resolution to 72 (which is the best that it will look on a monitor)

Browsers can be set to automatically resize pictures so they can be displayed on the screen

I change it to 800 X 623 and changed the res to 72 here (CLICK) (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/temp_77%20cruiser_pic.jpg)

I used Paint Shop Pro to resize it but any photo editing program will do it.

Try some of the freeware at Pricelessware.org

They have several graphics programs that can convert images, in batches if you want, to web-style resolution and size. Here's a link to the graphics packages:

My favorite is (like Dean) an old copy of Paint Shop Pro (v4.12). I'm used to it and it's easy to use. I keep my original super size and super high res pictures but resize them a ton for my web sites.

If it's like the 4.12 demo, it will just keep on going, but every time you open it up it will remind you that you're on day 467 of your 30 day trial ;)
