Anyone else having problems getting to sites on the Internet today? I'm in Oklahoma and I can only connect to about 20% of the places I try. Of course, my ISP says it's not their problem.

What's your setup- DSL, Cable, Dial-up ?? I have DSL and when I sense "no activity", I first check my connection with PacBell, my ISP, by reinitating Outlook Express which automatically checks their server for E-mail. I can then see if there is any communications. If that looks good, then I quickly try to open Microsoft's web page and one or more of the highly established sites, like DSL Reports. If that works, I then assume it's a localized problem. If either of those look bad, then I assume PacBell has a problem. During "high use" times, I am a lot more patient. I have not seen any "out of the ordinary" problems today, if that's what you were asking.
