: Date and Time for the Mid-Atlantic Regional?
Sean C Jan 28th, 05, 3:36 PM Hey guys,
I'm in Virginia and heard that the Mid-Atlantic Regional is usually held in Maryland. When is it going to be this year. I do plan on trying to make that show.
LeoP Jan 28th, 05, 8:06 PM Hi Sean, Yes it is in Maryland, at one of the most beautiful sites one could imagine in Northeast, Md. I can't remember the exact dates, but click on my link in my sig and check it out. What part of Va do you call home?
BlueSS454 Jan 28th, 05, 9:03 PM June 25-26.
Sean C May 3rd, 05, 11:18 PM Leo, sorry its been so long, I am coming from Norfolk, VA. I would really love to take part this year. My job schedule for travel is so unpredictable I dont know if I will be home for it.....if I am I should come up for the weekend.
LeoP May 4th, 05, 12:02 AM C'mon up and make sure you let me know if you are coming.
Don_Lightfoot May 4th, 05, 11:38 AM Any word on what the Saturday Night Cruise might be this year?
BlueSS454 May 4th, 05, 5:03 PM Don,

Ya right Tom, are you going to cheat again this year   :D
MedicTed May 4th, 05, 10:12 PM Anyone got a link for the show?
BlueSS454 May 4th, 05, 10:17 PM OK Don that hurt my feelings :( :D, now I'm gonna have to think of something extra sneaky to have in store for ya ;).

MedicTed May 4th, 05, 11:05 PM So what's the poker run?
BlueSS454 May 4th, 05, 11:09 PM It's not a race, it's more of a drive around to various locations (in your Chevelle or El Camino) and draw a card from a dealer at each stop point. When the end point is reached, the person with the best 5 card draw hand wins, as does the person that draws the worst hand. Right now I am picking out some possible checkpoints around the area that are not too far away from the park where the show is.
MedicTed May 4th, 05, 11:11 PM Yeah, but it's only open to those in the show. Unfortunately, my car is not in show condition. :(
BlueSS454 May 4th, 05, 11:19 PM You could always ride along with someone who is going on the run.
MedicTed May 4th, 05, 11:26 PM OK, I'll be taking bids on those who want my company on the Poker Run. Shall we start the bids at $1? :waving:
Sgtpop May 5th, 05, 8:02 PM I would like to go to this event. Does anyone have any information on the motels etc. It would be a nice trip for me and a chance to meet some TC members in Maryland. Ive been told its a nice show. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
MedicTed May 5th, 05, 9:31 PM Sgt, there's hotel info on the link page, in one of the posts above.

Speaking of which...
Where's Willard?? I missed seeing him and his '68 at Peachstate last weekend.
Sgtpop May 5th, 05, 11:10 PM Thanks for the quick responses. Ill check further and see if I can work out some arrangements.
MedicTed May 6th, 05, 11:03 AM OK, I'll be taking bids on those who want my company on the Poker Run. Shall we start the bids at $1? :waving:
Alright, I guess I'll drop the starting bid to $.50. :D
MedicTed May 9th, 05, 11:13 AM I just booked the last room at the Crystal Inn for the show. :) OK, now I need for someone to volunteer to allow me to ride along on the Poker Run, since no one wants to pay for my company. :D Any takers? I promise I'll show that week!
FIG May 10th, 05, 11:14 AM You could always go ahead and register your car. Then you can join in on the Poker Run along with being eligible for the door prizes and get a goodie bag. :) You don't even have to be judged if you choose.
alss May 11th, 05, 8:51 AM Looking forward to the beer money again this year :D

Right now, I'm stuck in the "You might as well as" phase of my engine/trans swap. I pulled the front clip to make it easier, and found some rust in the radiator support and right front fender. I'm hoping to have the car ready for CB, but being the tightwad that I am, I don't want to register it for anything, just in case.
LeoP May 11th, 05, 11:58 PM Thats fine too Ted, we do day of show entries too on both days til noon on Sunday. The judges need time to complete their work on the cars to get the Awards done on Sunday afternoon. C'mon down and enjoy one of the best sites ever to put on a show.
MedicTed May 12th, 05, 1:53 PM I'm just concerned that having my car in the show would be embarrasing. It does not look pretty.
BlueSS454 May 12th, 05, 10:59 PM I wouldn't worry about that Ted. The main objective is to have a good time
LeoP May 13th, 05, 12:11 AM And we have a daily driver class and a survivor class too.
