I'm in Virginia and heard that the Mid-Atlantic Regional is usually held in Maryland. When is it going to be this year. I do plan on trying to make that show.

Leo, sorry its been so long, I am coming from Norfolk, VA. I would really love to take part this year. My job schedule for travel is so unpredictable I dont know if I will be home for it.....if I am I should come up for the weekend.

So what's the poker run?

It's not a race, it's more of a drive around to various locations (in your Chevelle or El Camino) and draw a card from a dealer at each stop point. When the end point is reached, the person with the best 5 card draw hand wins, as does the person that draws the worst hand. Right now I am picking out some possible checkpoints around the area that are not too far away from the park where the show is.

Yeah, but it's only open to those in the show. Unfortunately, my car is not in show condition. :(

You could always ride along with someone who is going on the run.

I would like to go to this event. Does anyone have any information on the motels etc. It would be a nice trip for me and a chance to meet some TC members in Maryland. Ive been told its a nice show. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just booked the last room at the Crystal Inn for the show. :) OK, now I need for someone to volunteer to allow me to ride along on the Poker Run, since no one wants to pay for my company. :D Any takers? I promise I'll show that week!

You could always go ahead and register your car. Then you can join in on the Poker Run along with being eligible for the door prizes and get a goodie bag. :) You don't even have to be judged if you choose.

Right now, I'm stuck in the "You might as well as" phase of my engine/trans swap. I pulled the front clip to make it easier, and found some rust in the radiator support and right front fender. I'm hoping to have the car ready for CB, but being the tightwad that I am, I don't want to register it for anything, just in case.

Thats fine too Ted, we do day of show entries too on both days til noon on Sunday. The judges need time to complete their work on the cars to get the Awards done on Sunday afternoon. C'mon down and enjoy one of the best sites ever to put on a show.

I'm just concerned that having my car in the show would be embarrasing. It does not look pretty.

I wouldn't worry about that Ted. The main objective is to have a good time :thumbsup:

And we have a daily driver class and a survivor class too.
