Wow, the silence is deafening. I guess we don't have any Chevelle - racers around Southwest Florida?

Well, weather was superb for last day of qualifying. Still perfect for today's eliminations. I love watching a 3400 pound Chevelle with radial DOT MT tires run like a bracket car - 8.14, 8.16, 8.18 and 8.21. Of course the other classes were much quicker with low 6's being required to win - 6.36 took the top spot with about 12 cars in the sixes = amazing to me - especially the mixture of engines from sixes (including a Cadillac CTS motored Cavalier that ran 6.87) to 812 inch BBs.
