We reserved the whole hotel at the Jameson this year, and it's been full for about 3 weeks now. The Guesthouse Inn & Suites still has rooms reserved for us. It's a good place with hot breakfast, and room for some trailer parking. Here's their number (770)-535-8100.
We look forward to seeing all you guys again,
Dan

Stayed at the Guest house last year. I'd rather be closer. What about some of the others closer. I can't remember the names but I saw some on both sides of the intersection. I'd like to try them.

You can try these:
Country Inn & Suites 770-535-8080
Comfort Inn 770-287-1000
They are both at the same exit as the Jameson, but both told me they were sold out several months ago. Maybe they have had some cancelations.

OK, got lucky, someone cancelled at the Jameson, I'll be staying there! Now I'm going to go to your site and register!

See ya there!!!

Things are beginning to bloom here in the Atlanta area, and the ACES Southeast Regional is just a few weeks away. Those of you that have not already pre-regsistered you can do it online now, and pay with a credit card. Remember all entries before April 15th have a chance to win 2 nights free at the host hotel. We also have about 20 rooms left at the Guesthouse Inn & Suites. They will only hold them until April 1st, then you are on your own finding a motel.
For those of you that attended 2 years ago and enjoyed the seminar by Killian Bode, the veteran GM training center instructor who now works for PPG, he will be here again this year to do a 2 hour seminar. Check out the website for all the info.

Dan,

Do you have an entry form you can email me. I am in the process of making arrangements to come down this year. I plan on driving my 69 'Bu. I still have to call a hotel and get a room, but I would like to preregister via mail instead of online.

Dan, I just registered on line and had a little trouble with your website, it closed up on me part way through, so if it looks like I registered twice its wrong, just register me once with 1 companion. Also, there is no place to specify T-shirt size or year of car, correct?

Ron,
You did it right. I have you for 1 show entry and 1 tee shirt. You're right, no tee shirt size option on the web registration page, but we plan to have plenty. All your car info year, class, etc will be taken when you check in.

Tom,
I will email you a registration form tomorrow, I have it on another computer.

We look forward to seeing both of you there.

Tom,
I seem to be having trouble getting your email address so I added a printable show registration form on the website http://peachstatechevelles.com
Just choose Peach State Chevelle Show on the menu, and follow the link on that page. When you get the form open there's a "print this page" link in the lower right corner.
See you soon,
Dan

Congratulations to Howard Reed, the winner of the drawing for 2 nights free lodging at the Jameson Inn. Things are looking good for the show next weekend. We have 70 preregistered, and most of those are out of town folks, so if the weather is decent the locals will come on in, and get us to about 150 cars.
Remember if you need anything from Hinshaw's Chevelle Parts you can have it delivered to the show for free, and save shipping charges!

A funny thing I have observed about car shows, it's like a funeral in that the number who attend greatly depend on the weather.

For those of you that believe in the weather channel, here's a link to the local forecast.

I am competely new to this site and found it just by just doing a google search. Anyway, I just inherited my grandmothers 72 Chevelle Malibu. It had been garaged it entire life up until the last 3 years, when my granmothers eyesight was getting too bad to park in the garage. The car is still in good shape, some paint fading where she had the sides touched up from the garage door along with some rust bubbles and rust through on the driverside front fender. The car brings back many fond memories of her and I am interested in coming to the show this weekend while the car isn't worthy of a show yet I may enter it anyway. The car is only showing 8057 miles mainly because my grandmother was blinded in her right eye in a car accident in the late sixties however the car does need a new valve gasket because it is leaking oil. By the way it is yellow with a black vinyl top and a 350. Let me know if you guys would like to have one more guy there this weekend.

I think it would be dangerous for you to come, these guys would be tripping all over themselves to get a look at a car like that!!! Injuries could result!!!

I talked with my wife last night and she said that she would like to go too, so I guess I will register and see you there this weekend. Like I said though the car isn't quite ready to be doing a show but it will be fun.

MoeMan,
I will do it. I will be in the yellow with black vinyl top 72 that has seen better days, but I will be there to have fun.

I just wanted to say that it was nice meeting everyone. Yesterday I did a little work trying to clean the engine bay and it is looking so much better now. Thank you for all the tips and pointers.

I went by your car a couple of times to say "Hi" but didn't see any one around.
Next time!

Hey Tate,
Enjoyed looking at your '72 parked next to Moeman's... BTW, you forgot to pick up your "Top 3" award at the ceremony yesterday! Hope to see more of you and your '72 as it progresses...

Chuck,
I didn't realize that they were going to be giving awards in our catagory besides 1st. We had to be at church on Sunday which made it impossible for us to make it back on Sunday. I am going to try and get the car in a little better shape and make the Nashville show. Hope to see everyone there.
