I have been thinking of going for the first time, but did I understand a previous post correctly, that you have to be an ACES member to ATTEND ?? Or is it just to show there???

SS_Dave
Jan 7th, 05, 11:42 AM
No, do not need ACES membership to attend.
However, if you want to enter your car in the show competition, you must be an aces member.

ssal396
Jan 7th, 05, 11:51 AM
Thats cool, I really should join ACES anyway... Dave, are you going??

I'll shoot you an email when I know for sure if you want to carivan down. Andy from Ashtebula will probably hook up too. He has an awsome 70 wagon done in like a candy red w/white stripes.
It depends on if I go see my sister in Florida in Feb or not. will burn up too much vacation time.

Oh, and if your dont have an aces membership, you have to wear a bag over your head for the whole show. Maybe thats why no one recognized me. ;)

Ya, please do that.. I'm not sure if I am going to take the Chevelle, its still too fresh, maybe if I can get some miles on her this summer.. If not, I can just drive the Yucon... Think I'll try to drag 69SS Mike down along with me...

Derek,

When it gets a little closer in time we will have to get a post going to get us all together. I think it would be a fun trip to combine the two events.

I don't understand why the hell threads about CB '05 had to be moved to TC Cruiz Ins. They've always been fine in Bench Racing. No harm in leaving them there. We need some excitement there this time of year other than female teasing male threads.

Starting right here at Miller park for the power tour & ending up at CB05, oh yaaa, I am definitely going, it should be an absolute blast, better be nice sunny days to put the top down. Hope I can convince the wife to drive the truck & enclosed trailer with for those not so nice days.

I love to give home made gifts, which one of the kids would you like?

Scott Scott,
For hotels, just get whatever is still available. The TC'ers usually hang out in the parking lot between the Best Western and the Hampton.

Hey Kevin McHugh,
I see you are from Houston. When are you coming up and are you going to be coming through Little Rock, Ark?
There is going to be an eastbound group coming along I-40 and a group coming up from Tex which will all meet at Lonoke, Ark (just east of LR) at the McDonalds Wed morning and proceed to CB05. Just wondering if you could join us.
