: Route-66 Rendezvous San Bernardino September 16 - 19, 2004
72ElCaminoSS May 29th, 04, 11:09 PM Still a ways off. Who will be going? I'm still hoping this will be my fist show with my new paint though as usual, everything's taking longer and costing more than was planned. I may just have it in a fresh coat of primer.
Well, my interior will be new and fresh and I should have the engine bay all cleaned up by then.
My friend will be there with my old 55 4 door, which is now his.
Agent_X May 30th, 04, 7:49 PM I may be there with my "under construction" 68 Malibu. Hopefully the only thing it will be lacking is a nice paint job by then. Its only a 307 right now with a chrome kit on it, headers and an exhaust kit on it so it doesnt look to bad, minus the paint of course. Future plans are a 383 w/350 trans and a 12 bolt rear.

Sweet, sounds like we're in the same boat...
I have a 454 and Turbo 400 I'm starting. And, I'll likely be in primer as well.
DaleM Jun 7th, 04, 1:50 AM Got anymore info? I have in-laws in Riverside and Mentone/Redlands area. Sounds like a great excuse to come in September graemlins/waving.gif

Bring your swim trunks, because it is hot as hell that time of year here.
DaveK Jun 8th, 04, 12:16 PM I'm sure I'll be going to at least look around. Don't know if I'll take the car though. Like Mike mentioned, the heat is a little hard to take for 4 days. Especially on the Chevelle on the cruise route. I have some friends that are talking about trying it again, so maybe.
72ElCaminoSS Jun 8th, 04, 12:31 PM Get a spot in front of the apartments on the south east corner of the route. It's off the beaten path. But, it's close to the rides and there's shade trees. That's where I'll be.
Pvt.Cowboy Sep 4th, 04, 12:50 AM I'm-a-coming! graemlins/hurray.gif
Agent_X Sep 6th, 04, 7:01 PM I heard that the cruise route has been changed due to all the cars that were over heating last year. Its suppose to be longer and more flowing to help keep the cars moving and not sitting like last year. And yes, it was baking at last years cruise. It gets hot!!!!!
