I did the Power Tour last year in my 60 El Camino and had a hell of a time. (El Camino is in June issue of Hot Rod) Even stopped in Louisiana , had a heart attack and surgury. But I finished the Tour after escaping from the Hospital in Lake Charles! Made it back to the Ballpark for my Long Hauler award! I vowed to return to make up for what little I missed last year. My buddy is trapped in a carwash in Dallas right now trying to stay out of tornados and softball sized hail. We built his car together from a bare shell and he's driving in from Daytona Beach right now. Or is that just to get into the festivities later on? What gives? Glenn Jun 4th, 04, 9:59 PM Hey, the Tour route directions state: from St. Louis up 67 to Milan, Il. then get on 280 and go into IA. You CAN NOT get on 280 at Milan, IL. The interchange is under construction and the ramps have been torn out!! Maybe someone here has connection with the Tour people to give them heads up.
