Just happened that me, the wife and 2 other couples were heading down for the weekend and they were having a car show and cruise all weekend.

Had I known that we would have taken the 69 :mad:

Anyway the place was MOBBED with cool cars, cruising and doing burn outs all night and all day graemlins/thumbsup.gif

These guys were serious with wheelie bars and fricking parachutes !! :eek: Don't know how they get the tags for those??

We hit the beach Saturday and I only stayed for an hour, I couldn't stand it anymore. The main drag was only a block from the beach and hearing all that American iron rumbling and peeling out.
I told the old lady I was taking my beach chair and beer and heading to the strip. Much cooler than watching the seagulls fight over horeshoe crabs !!

Great show and a LOT of nice cars. Just bummed I didn't know in advance.
Oh well there's always next year.

Anybody else make it down?

I took my 69 down. I would have taken the 70, but I probably would have gotten in trouble with it ;) . I was there until Sunday morning. I was at the inlet most of saturday, then up to Hooters where the real action was. I will probably take my 70 next year. There were 3 cars running on alky at Hooters on Sat. night :D .
