Since Monday is a holiday, I'm considering loading the family up in the motorhome, and driving out to see the cars. Do you know of any RV parks that are convenient to the location? DZ what kind of shape is 1-40 east from OKC in this year? Going to Super Chevy last year, I think every bridge in Oklahoma was under repair.

I-40 around Ft Smith, Clarksville, Conway, and Little Rock in Arkansas still has some lane closures and possible delays. Go to http://www.ahtd.state.ar.us/ and click on Roads then check out the construction map. It will be easier to get through Little Rock by taking I-430 South to I-630 East, then take I-30 West to I-440. Take I-440 back to I-40 and you'll miss all the mess in North Little Rock. The last time I went to Memphis there were no problems in Arkansas, but I-40 through Memphis can be a pain.
I'll be leaving here (Little Rock) Thursday morning June 3rd. If any TC'ers are going to be staying here or going through here, let me know & we can hook up and convoy to Nashville. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

That's the best info I have heard since last CB03. I have not been any further east than Ft Smith since last Aug.
Our plan is to arrive in Goodlettsville sometime Tue afternoon, get a good nights sleep, and get up Wed am and go to Floyd Garrett's Museum. Then be back in the motel parking lot Wed evening for the BS festivities.

There is a camp ground between the drag strip and the park. I will get more info. & phone # in the morning. The name has changed but I'll drive by there and check it out.

Thanks,
I hate to go without my car, but that will give me more time to ogle. Keeps the wife happy to take her and the twins, too.

There are a few camp grounds. Nashville North Campground is 1.5 miles from the main hotels that every one is staying at. The # is 615-289-8896. Just around the corner from that one is Graystone Campground # 615-859-5755. I saw one more in the area but these two seemed a little nicer of the three. There is some major road work going on at I-40 & white bridge road, just out side of Nashville. Are you taking 40 to 65N? If you need me to I'll check on any good alternate routes. David
