Anybody going down to Laguna Seca this year to catch the vintage races? Ferarri is the spotlight, but there's garunteed to be a whole museum's worth of 60's and 70's trans-am race cars to fill your time. There are some pretty amazing camaro's and mustangs down there. Anywho, i'll be there with a buddy, and was curious if anybody else here liked some of the "other" vintage stuff out there.

Love it. Unfortunately the only times I ever got to Laguna Seca was courtesy of Uncle Sam, as I was stationed out there. They'd get us local Army boys to work security. Once at the vintage races, and others. Free in. Also the Concours at Pebble Beach.Wow. But the various races at Laguna were tops. Saw the Pope there too!

That's a neat track, seemed to work the cars really hard ( from an amatuers eye ).Enjoy yourselves!

This takes place in August? I'm going to try and make it. Never been before, but always wanted to go. From what I've seen on TV and hear people talk about them, it sounds awesome.

Aside from being a bit expensive it's a great event. Check the schedules for when your favorites are going to be on the track or you could miss them in action...

I'm going to bring it us as a possible event for our local club as they give clubs a special place to park as a group if you pre-arrange 35 or 38 admissions.

this is the weird part, you can get General Admission, Fri - $35, Sat - $50, and Sun - $40 at the gate but that doesn't include the paddock (pits) or the grandstands, those are extra. https://www.redshift.com/%7Elagunaweb/tickets/available.php?number=6

Then you can go to this link and they have packages for the same price and you get grandstand and paddock access!! http://www.laguna-seca.com/Tickets/index.cfm?Fuseaction=ViewTickets&EventID=2

Here's the main page...

Thanks for the links Dennis! Even a cheap guy like me can afford those prices. Maybe not the Sunday price, but Saturday. I'll have to keep this on the calendar. Can't wait.

Watch out Cheap guy!! $50 at the gate and parking, then I think it's $10 for the paddock and $10 for the stands. It adds up fast when you have a family to bring with you...
