Anyone ever attend this show? or is anyone planning to attend... supposed to be a big one.

I live 20 minutes away and almost never go..I am going to the bristol swap meet in CT that day, its a very good swap meet with good prices. I may go up saturday just to show my daughter some cars but the swap meet is small and the cars for sale are normally way over priced.

I'd be more interested in the Car Show portion on Sunday... they say over 1100 cars?

and is Poughkeepsie really only 20 mins away from Rhinebeck?

If sunday is the street rod show then there will be plenty of nicer cars as long as the weather holds out, even street rods that are half done are still cool to look at. When the 60s and 70s cars have been there I normally see half the cars in the show could stay in the parking lot. If you know the backroads and dont have to deal with route 9 you can get to the fairgrounds in less than 30 minutes from poughkeepsie. I normally dont check out the show but when I have things have been pretty much the same as far as car turnout. The bristol show I am going to has a huge swap meet and lots of cars for sale, but the car show is more street rod oriented. Since they are the same day it may affect the car turnout for both shows.
