Is there any difference in seat belts in years '68 - 73?

Yes ...
Sit belt were the same for:
1964 - 1967,
1968 - 1972,
1973 - 1977,
1978 till the end.

That list does not sound correct. I know for sure 66 and 67 did not have the same belts, dont know about the others. although my 69 had the same belts as my 67 but i think someone may have changed the ones in my 69. dubble check the info

Well, the 72's contain a switch in the front seat belts. This is tied into a pressure sensor and an idiot light on the dash. Don't think it was in the 71's but too lazy to look. System was a little annoying if you had something on the front seat and hit a bump.

I know that 68 and 69 are the same. but 70s are different from those two year's

There's another difference between 71 & 72 belts.

71 seat belts have seperate lap & shoulder belts & a buckle for each. The buckles are large.

The 72 shoulder belt clips into the male end of the lap belt and then that plugs into a single buckle. The buckles are smaller, too.
