Is the frame on an early (pre 68) nova four door the same as a two door?

There is no "frame" on 67 and older Nova's.
The companies that market conversion front suspensions (Heidt's and Chassisworks) market a different set up for 62 through 65 and the 66/67 cars. I don't know what the difference is.

Thanks for the reply Wes. I was just wondering because we have a couple of old 4-door novas (they are the 67 and older bodies, I just can't remember the exact year) and my father and I were thinking about making one into a drag car. I just wasn't sure about parts compatibilty with the 2 doors. I know the front subframe is just a bolt in and shouldn't be any different from the 2 and 4 doors.

Mark. I do not know about the older ones, but a lot of circle track guys have replaced the front frame on the 68+ with a clip out of a camaro. This gives you the disc brakes and all, and is a direct bolt in.

Here you go:

1967: http://www.classicnovas.net/brochure/67nv-13.jpg
This shows the dimensions of all chassis and lengths. There all unibody chassis.
Bcice is right, 68-72 will interchange with 67-69 camaro parts. The 62-67 however will not.
