I am hooking up electrical oil, temp and volt gauges. The directions call for them all to have an engine ground it also says to ground the lights. Can I use the engine ground on the lights too? Also it says that two of the gauges are hooked to the ignition hot and the other says to hook it to any hot wire. Can't I hook all of them to any switched hot power source? Any other hints, tricks or suggestions welcome. Thanks.................Ward

i hook mine all up to the same hot/ground/lighting wires, ez,clean, and less confusing, just run them all together and only 1 wire to the power, and 1 to a good ground.
