Look at this auction on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=597008250&r=0&t=0

Does this not make you want to cry? Sympathize with me.

The amazing thing about cars like that is that at some point in time there will actually be someone who is glad to have found it. Ever go to rod shows and see some of the photo scrapbooks detailing some car like that wagon being totally transformed from junker to looker? That car can absolutely be saved, it just needs to find a two door wagon enthusiast who will relish the challenge.

I dont know if it's my young age but you guys have much more vision than I do. Where I see the death of a rare car you see an oppurtunity to restore it. I don't know what to say.

Come on 69chevelledude,you have to have vision on these cars. You can't be that young if you're into the 69's.We must save them ALL.The rest is just transportation.

If you think that is bad, I should go snap some shots of the 60's Chevelles, GTO's, 442's and SS Nova's at the wrecking yard up the road !!
Most with little or no rust !!

Well I'm only 18. You would be very hard pressed to find any type of muscle car in any wrecking yards here in California. At least I have not seen any. Check out my website guys.

You live in the asphalt jungle....venture out sometime.
To say there are no muscle cars in California wrecking yards is simply not true.
I could show you a minimum of 50 bonified muscle cars tomorrow...in wrecking yards...in California !! What kind of car are you looking to restore. I know where it is.
I've been to Pomona many times and all of the other surrounding LA areas. You are probably right about not finding anything there, but if you get out of the big cities and venture out into the "small towns", you'll find tons of muscle cars and parts !!
Whoops, now the secret is out. Oh well, I can't buy them all !! (or can I?)hmmmmmm??
