I finnally got my 69 Camino runnin the way i wanted it to (fast and reliable) and now i get to worry about appearance. My paint should be done next week and its time to think about stance. I want it as low as possible without bags, but i don't want to scrape on every bump. What have ya'll found out with your cars. Tips and experiences would be great.

Put a tall tire on it and lower the body over the tires. This will trick the eye into thinking your car is lower than it really is. Conversely if you use a low profile tire and end up with a gap between the tire and the fender the car will appear higher than it actually is.

one thing that i have heard is that if you have headers then lowring the car will make them hit on almost every bump. so if you do lower you may need to switch to shorty's or manifolds.

I hacked 2 coiuls on my springs, and my longtubes suffered! they have 2 sides on the collector now. 1 round and 1 flat.
I put in new springs, with 1 coil cut and it it perfection. No slamming, and correct ride height.
