I just installed a new 68-70 master cylinder on my 66, and now the pedal goes to the floor on the first pump and feels great on the second, third, ect.
anyone know what would cause this???
ive bled the brakes twice already and still, the same thing....
Please help... im stuck with no wheels without my "velle"

Did you bench bleed it before installing it? If not, you'll have to bleed it for a while.

well.... I thought I did, but the directions were not very straight forward. so now, after the fact I bled it by breaking loose the two fittings on the M/C and letting it drip. still diddnt help tho...... do I have to bleed the brakes again after the M/c??? thanks for the help

yep, bleed the mc the way your suppose to, (dripping out don't work) make sure it's level in a vice and bleed till there's no more bubbles, then install and bleed the air out of the rest of the lines again, yes again ;( ain't it fun
