: Pressure Plate Torqe Specs

I have looked everywhere i can think of, but cant find it.

Can someone tell me how much to torque the bolts that hold the pressure plate to fhe flywheel?
Its a SBC w/ a muncie 4 speed.

Depends on the bolts.
If you used aftermarket bolts, check with the manufacturer. ARP has torque specs on their web site for their different grades of bolts, and different types of lubricants. (motor oil, ARP assembly lube)

If you are using stock fasteners, the Haynes manual says 35 foot pounds.

According to '65 Service Manual: for 327 SB 3/8-16 thread size and 25-35 lb. ft. for clutch pressure plate.
