Hello, I was just wondering what the spark plug gap should be for my new engine when i put it in. The block is a brand new GM 350 four bolt block. The heads are worked over cast iron 1.94 heads. I didn't know if it was 0.035" or 0.045" Thanks for the help.

the rule I have been told is-
HEI= .45 gap
POINTS= .35 gap
now a super hot points set up will use a .45 gap. and I have seen some HEI's use a .60 gap. I use the rule I posted when I do plug's.
