i thought i read that 74-75 nova spindles and all will work on my 66 but when looking at them the spindle is a one piece with the steering knuckle as part of it...it isn't a bolt on knuckle. the steering box is forward of the suspension on this nova....will this work????

Ray, I have 1974 Nova spindles, rotors, dust shields and calipers on my 1965 El camino and they are two-piece.

'74 is a more direct bolt-on, but I think the bolt-on steering bracket has to be switched side-to-side. The '75 and newer uses the one piece spindle.

I have '76 Nova spindles, dust shields, rotors, calipers, brake hoses, booster, master cylinder and combo valve on my '68 'Camino.

(No, I don't recommend using the Nova booster. Real PITA to connect to the brake pedal, and the Nova hoses require a bit of rework to the bracket to fit!)

Look at the "tall spindle" brake conversion tech reference.

This is a GREAT parts swap, with only a couple of "gotchas". You will need a zillion shims to get the alignment adjusted. (or you have to buy the special upper controll arms!) There isn't a lot of clearance between the upper controll arm/cross shaft and the steering shaft and/or the A/C box.
