Has anyone put TBI into a chevelle??? I have all the necessary components except the Fuel Pump. I have no idea where to get one for this type of application, as I do not want to use an intank type I also am preparing to plumb a return line to the tank. Has anyone done this? Lemme know.

Find out where the local radiator shops send their radiators to be recored as that is the place the experienced people work and they do the best work.

I just had my neck resoldered, a -10 AN fitting soldered into the bottom of the tank and a -8 AN fitting put near the top of the tank. They charged me $70.00 and want me to be sure to bring the car by when its done. This tank will now support a 220 GPH pump and it looks totally stock except for the one fitting on the bottom.

They offered to build me a radiator that will look stock and support 700 HP with a trans cooler for $400.00. They will guarantee it too!

Holley sells several inline pumps that will work. Almost all inline pumps can not "pull" good, but are designed to "push". It is best to try to get the most gravity feed you can. If you have some vent line you can use that can work for the return. Moroso makes a piece that mounts in the filler neck, I can't say I like that method.
One problem you might have is when the fuel gets low, it will slosh away from the pickup. For a carb this is ok, for EFI this is not good, however for TBI, which is at a lower pressure than multiport, it might not be as bad.

I tell people to weld in some type of sump for EFI to eliminate this problem.

Obviously, have only qualified people do the welding due to explosion hazzard.

i put tbi in my 70 chevelle. i did a frame off restoratin. it wasn't hard to run the new lines with the frame off. i put the fuel in the tank. i used a unit out of a 90 corsica. it had the most straight drop in pump unit i could find. i cut my original tank and put the complete pump and fuel sender in my tank. i had had to cut the line for the fuel pump because it was to deep in the tank. it works fine .

YOu actually cut the mounting spot off the corsica tank, and had it welded into the chevelle tank??? that sounds like a good idea. I bet people do not even notice!
