Sorry this is not a Chevelle question,I promise not to make a habit of this.I am gathering the parts needed to convert my 68 Roadrunner from torqueflight to four speed.I was wondering if anybody could recommend someone reputable to buy a 833 four speed from. For the record my 68 Chevelle got its new four speed first.
thanks
Tony

That is a good question! Those things are so bullet proof they seem to last forever. Your best bet is going to be the Mopar guys on this one.

But, I did find this!

Good luck!

Tony, I checked with my local tranny man, Old Man, and he didn;t know of anyone who might have one ALHTOUGH he said he probably has enough parts to put one togehter for you.

FWIW he said their very heavy, and very BULLETTPROOF.

If you;re interested you can call him direct, Ken Bainbridge ( Old Man ) at 716-689-1734.

110% top notch work BTW.

i can suggest a site for you. moparts.com
i'm not sure what the market on those are but my buddy just got one w/ chevy bellhousing setup for $250.
if you find one that's not local it may be hard to ship. they weigh a ton and a half.
