Head gasket? doubt it. You probably just need some thread sealer on that bolt.

edit: 2-minute response time....not bad 'eh?

Yep, may just need a sealer.

But check to make sure the bolt is tight or not broken. I had a bolt break once. Was driving down the hwy and saw plume of white smoke out the rear, stopped the car and could not find anything except for a drop of anti-freeze by a head bolt. I headed home and parked the car to cool down. Got out the big breaker to lossen the bolt and realized it was sheared off. Strange thing to happen. I had to remove the head to replace.

thanks guys i was hoping it was just into a water jacket and after looking again figured it was cuz it's right up front, i tigntened it down a little but it wasn't loose, so, question is, do i need to drain the system then take the bolt out,seal,re-install? and will this hurt anything just taking out 1 bolt?

GREAT RESPONSE TIME BY THE WAY

Just drain 1 gallon or so out of the system, enough to lower the water below that area, remove the bolt and clean it, put sealer on and reinstall. Good Luck!

Prestone makes a great stop leak product if it comes down to that. Had a head gasket problem that I could't take time to repair right away and the Prestone worked fine for several months till I could take the time to replace the head gasket.
