I seem to have a chicken and egg problem.

I'm trying to get my steering wheel back on, but I'm having a problem getting the horn to work.

The horn parts include a spring, metal stud and a plastic insert.

Can you tell me the order in which the parts go into the hole. I've tried several combinations, but nothing is working. I can ground out the thing and make the horn blow, so the horns work fine. I think it's the order I'm using.

Thanks

stud spring then plastic retainer.

If you changed the wheel to a grant one or aftermarket, make sure there is a wire grounding to the steering collumn comming from the horn also.

I know grant horns require a ground wire to be atached in some way from the horn to any metal part of the steering wheel.

Good Luck
