I tried every which way but concluded that this cannot be done without lifting the body. The only way around this is to cut the line into two sections and splice it in a hidden spot.

I use lines made by The Right Stuff Detailing in Columbus Oh, 1-800-405-2000 It fits. You must lift the body to replace the fuel lines. They tell you in the catalog that "trying to replace fuel lines without seperating the body from the frame will make for a veeeerrrrryy long afternoon. It is near impossible."

I assume that everyone is talking about installing stainless steel lines. What about steel braided lines? Is there a reason not to use them? And how easy would it be to install a braided fuel line?
