In my travels I have acquired a holley carb
# 3885067-EE
List-3246
744
I believe it is off a 1966 427 or a Chevelle
396 can someone verify that for me.I would also like to make sure this carb finds it way back to its rightful home.I am from your sister page Team Camaro.

My 66 service manual shows that carb correct for the 427/425 FS Chevrolet and my chevelle assembly manual shows it also correct for the 66 chevelle 396/375. Holley numerical listing has it listed as 427 chevrolet and 396 chevelle. Hope this helps.

I got these numbers out of the Holley Illustrated parts and Specs book, added
1982 this book seems to have every old
Holley part number in it, I don't even remember were I got it.If anybody has a
old Holley I will be glad to look up the
number.I also have the Bill Carrolls
Stocker's Bible for engine codes from 1955
to 1971 it does show this carb on the 427\425
HP turbo-jet 66-67-68-69 L-72 engine codes
ID-IP-LD-LS.

The date code is April 67. Either came on a 67 car or was a 66 replacement?

Hey shooter,
As one chevy guy to another don'you feel this carb should go back on what she came off of?
Their has to be a guy on this page that needs
that carb to make his car 100%.

We have a nice parts for sale section available from the main www.chevelles.com (http://www.chevelles.com) page, lots of traffic there. It's free too. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif
