Is there any way to stop or lessen this? they rub on the frame?

I my left inner squeaked too. The repop metal inner on mine does not have a rubber trim piece on the trailing edge like the OEM unit on the right.

I bought an OEM unit because the left did not fit as well. I bet that rubber trim eliminates the squeak I have too.

My new metal inner fenders didn't have the rubber strips so I put a couple beads of black silicone caulk where the rubbers would be. Let them dry completely before I installed the inners.
