Although, the years that the 396 WAS available, it was available in other cars. And, in some cars, both BBs were available. The Vette always got the biggest BB. He loved the dog and could not leave work, and the dog had to go to the vet. I had no wheels, his wife had the family car and was away, but there was this beautiful 67 vette sitting in the garage.I had been begging him to let me drive it, and he did not have a choice that day if he wanted the dog to live. I remember that car had the flags on the front fenders with 396 under them.
