A real simple question. Where does the mounting bracket that is spot welded on the filler/dipstick tube on a th350 trans. mount to on the car? It was just hanging loose on the car when I bought it with nothing visible to bolt it to. Am I missing a mounting bracket somewhere? Many thanks in advance, Deejay

It mounts on the bellhousing bolt that connects to the motor on (quiet naturally) the passenger side. Hopefully yours is slotted, if not make it so. That way you do not have to take the bolt completely out to put it in place
